Contest rules
- Organizer. SIA "DRF" (brand ĶEPA), Brīvības gatve 271, Riga. Questions: [email protected].
- Progress. Applications can be submitted until September 23, 2026 at 23:59. Voting takes place from September 8 to September 30, 2026 at 23:59 at kepafood.lv/konkurss. The approved pets appear in the voting immediately, and the owner receives a unique link in the e-mail with which to invite friends to vote, so it is more profitable to apply earlier.
- Membership. Any owner of a pet (dog or cat) can participate by sending a photo of the pet, the name of the pet and their contact information. One application = one pet; several pets can be registered with separate applications. The organizer checks and approves the applications; pictures where the pet is not clearly visible, which are not the sender's own pictures, or which are offensive may be rejected.
- Voting. Voting takes place with a Facebook profile - the voter confirms his identity by logging in with his Facebook account (ĶEPA only receives a name and email, nothing is published). One vote per day per pet from one Facebook profile. The use of fake or third-party accounts and automated tools is prohibited. The organizer can cancel the votes obtained in an unfair way and exclude the participant; the organizer's decision is final.
- Winners and prizes. The three pets with the most votes at the close of voting are painted in the available spaces on the wall of the ĶEPA store at Brīvības gatve 271 (1st place — gold, 2nd — silver, 3rd — bronze frame on the page). Winners also receive surprise prizes from ĶEPA Raw Food. In the event of a tie, the earlier approved entry takes priority. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. Artist Aldija Balode creates the painting as an interpretation of the submitted photograph; the organiser and artist determine its placement and scale. If a winner cannot be contacted within 3 days, the place passes to the next pet by number of votes.
- Discovery. The ceremonial opening of the painting will take place on October 3, 2026, at Brīvības gatve 271, Riga, in a joint event with dog brunch. Winners will be announced on the page and in person.
- Images and rights. By submitting the image, the participant confirms that he has the right to use it and agrees that ĶEPA will use it for free for mural painting and competition publicity (home page, social networks, store).
- Personal data. The data specified in the application (name, phone, e-mail, pet's name and photo) SIA "DRF" is processed only for the running of the contest - for approving the application, communicating with the participants and announcing the winner. Voters' Facebook profile data (name, e-mail, profile ID) are used only for counting votes - one vote per day from one profile. Data is stored for up to 3 months after the end of the competition. ĶEPA sends news and offers by e-mail only to those who have separately agreed to it; they can be canceled at any time by writing to [email protected]. More — in the privacy policy.
- Other provisions. The organizer may clarify the rules or postpone the deadlines due to force majeure by informing about it on this page. By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to these rules.
